Warranties are key in giving the solar energy system buyer the needed confidence and assurance their investment will be safe. Manufacturer warranties supply a layer of financial protection for you if you encounter faults from solar equipment, performance issues, and more.
These producers typically honor the respective operational and production guarantees for solar panels, inverters, and other hardware included in the designed and installed system. However, not every business stays intact for the life of the guarantee.

Step 1 - Troubleshoot and Diagnose
Following our proven effective protocol in Solar System Troubleshooting and Repair {link to page}, we determine whether the system is operating at expected performance levels.
When the system performance is below expectations, we investigate root causes and define repair or replacement needs.
Step 2 - Evaluate Warranty Protections
With the repair and replacement needs defined, we evaluate all possible component warranties which may apply. Generally these are limited as follows:
- Solar panels and power control components, including power inverters as well as charge controllers, may be available.
- Solar racking components often are covered by a workmanship and defects guarantee.
- In most cases, wiring and miscellaneous fasteners and hardware are not warranted.
Step 3 - Manage Warranty Claims & All Repairs
Where warranties are valid, we apply and negotiate as needed on your behalf. We follow our standard repair protocol for all warranted and non-warranted parts acquisitions, staging, and replacement.
In situations where warranties have expired or manufacturers are no longer in business, we will provide you with cost effective options for repair or replacement.
Final - Report Out and Check-Up
Our standard protocol provides you with a full report documenting all initial measurements and observations. Follow up measurements after repair or replacements are added and evaluated against expected performance.
As applicable, we include all new documentation and instructions for warranties applied to replaced compontents.
